As a small business owner, no one knows the reasons you started better than you. When customers pay you a compliment (or just plain pay you), it feels good. It fuels that passion that keeps you pressing on every day, and confirms that you are doing what you are supposed to be doing.
As a techie, I’ve met dozens of small business owners who’ve put in countless hours of hard work just to make payroll. If you are one of those people I applaud your efforts and hope to one day hear your story.
One of my most genuine passions is seeing small businesses succeed.
I love walking into a small office to look at a computer or printer and see everyone chugging along hard at work. Sure, there’s still break time and conversation – but at the end of the day, everyone is doing his or her part to ensure the work gets done with excellence and on time.
My hope is that through this blog I can learn more about your pain points, develop some useful and productive software, and learn from processing out loud with you.
Since you may not have much experience building a tech solution for your business from the ground up, this blog will mainly focus on case studies of small business software ventures. From building something from scratch to implementing, upgrading, or customizing an existing product.
Each project will be presented as a series of detailed walkthroughs. From planning to pricing to the implementation and outcome.
I look forward to sharing the experiences and insights we encounter along the way. All in an effort to help you the reader save a little time and heartache on your next project.
